Vision Statement

Wallace County is a caring, thriving community where history, education and commerce work together to achieve an exceptional quality of family life!

Community Goals

Tri-Hope will begin work in the communities on March 6th with a community conversation in Wallace at the museum. The community of Wallace has been generating some interest in improvement efforts and will use the conversation to try and see which may have the most momentum. Later in March, Tri-Hope will work with several civic and governmental organizations to convene a community conversation around the Bike Across Kansas opportunity that will begin in Sharon Springs in June this year. This event brings more than 800 people to our community and will require much coordination and communication to be a success. “We see this as a great opportunity to feature each of our three towns and show some real hospitality to our guests,” said Keith Anglemyer. Another exciting opportunity comes from our membership of the larger Public Square group which features participation in a youth interview process in coordination with a Kansas State University communications class.

The steering committee for Tri-Hope is energized by these new plans and looks forward to the grass roots ideas and motivation from the community.
